About Myanmar TESOL (MmTESOL)

If you like to know what’s happening in our local ELT Community as well as in global ELT world and who’s who in our local and global ELT, then you need to join Myanmar TESOL.
Myanmar TESOL is created to provide English teachers, teacher trainers and managers in Myanmar with the latest news about professional development opportunities in Myanmar and around the globe:

• workshops
• online courses
• conferences and other events, including calls for papers
• teacher association news
• online resources and activities
• for teachers and learners
• journals and newsletters, including calls for articles
• competitions and quizzes
• scholarships
• teacher and research projects, including   invitations to participate
• employment opportunities

Members can also share their own news; post requests for professional advice and stories about their experiences; and suggest topics for discussion and future professional development programs (PDPs) created by Myanmar TESOL.
Myanmar TESOL does this through 3 main e-mails. Membership is at a fee of 10, 000 Kyats (approximately about 150 USD), and once accepted, Myanmar ELTeCS members receive bi-weekly news digests automatically in their e-mail inboxes.
ELT practitioners can be a member of Myanmar TESOL simply sending your application and CV to the emails
( [email protected] ).
In response, you will get a message from the person concerned, within a few days, welcoming you.
Important news and events are posted on the Myanmar TESOL’s facebook account and on the Myanmar ELTeCS's official website, www.mmtesol.weebly.com, as well.
